Digital Commons Foundation

The Digital Commons is a planned learning and relational environment for independent people. It is not an AI-managed social network, an attention feed or a system of spiritual ranking.

Its purpose is to help people find reliable sources, preserve their own learning, meet by consent, collaborate for limited purposes and return what they learn to real life.

A vocabulary for voluntary relationship

Commons term	English meaning	中文含義
Star / 星	A real person — the subject of identity, consent, learning and practice.	真實個人——身份、同意、學習與實踐的主體。
Encounter / 相遇	A contact that may be declined or ended and does not create a permanent relationship.	可以拒絕或結束的接觸，不自動產生永久關係。
Star Link / 星際連接	A visible, consensual and terminable relationship between people or participating organizations.	經明確同意建立、可查看並可終止的人或參與機構關係。
Star Chain / 星鏈	A continuing collaboration with a purpose, roles, duration, review and a way to end.	具有目的、角色、期限、回顧與結束方式的持續協作。
Habitat / 棲息地	A physical or digital place that can hold encounters; it does not define the worth or completeness of a person.	承載相遇的實體或數位場所；不決定人的價值或完整性。
Seed / 種子	A traceable learning resource or action package; it may cite classics but is not a full-text classical library.	可追溯的學習資源或行動包；可以引用經典，但不是經典全文庫。
Constellation / 星座	The wider pattern formed by people, voluntary links, habitats, Seeds and public resources. It must not be presented as existing before it truly forms.	由人、自願連接、棲息地、種子與公共資源形成的整體圖景；尚未真實形成前，不得被描述為已存在。

Registration Body

Public registration is planned to be open. Registration will not automatically grant access to private Circles, other people’s data, governance roles, accommodation, public publishing or program places.

Journal Body

A learner-controlled space for study, practice, reflection and open questions. It is private by default and is not automatically used for research, fundraising, recommendations, public stories or model training.

Ai

Classical AI Companion

Ai Body

When explicitly enabled, the Companion may use the learner’s unexcluded private history to understand the learner while using approved classical and supporting sources for principled guidance. Personal history never becomes classical authority.

AI truth: Generated text, voice, images or interactive behaviour must not be presented as a real person’s statement, presence, approval or relationship without source evidence and consent. AI can support implementation; it cannot replace human dignity, spiritual discernment, legal responsibility or reserved governance.
